School Regulations

  • Student must be in school premises by 7:00 AM.
  • At the sign of the first bell all students assemble in front of prayer assembly area. changes of classes must be done in silence and order.
  • Because of High standard of English is required for CBSE, English will be spoken all the times on the as further opportunity for practice.
  • Student consistently breaking this rule are liable to be dismissed.
  • Private tuition is prohibited. Tutorial classes are conducted in the school for weaker students. Those who are found taking private tuitions are liable to be dismissed.
  • Gentlemanliness and respect towards all are characteristics of a St. Mary’s student. One their way to and from school all are expected to behave in a gentlemanly manner. All must be tidy in dress and nobody should enter leave the school unless he/she wears the school uniform.
  • Shouting, whistling and ruckus in school campus are strictly forbidden. It is strictly forbidden to throw anything at another.
  • The School is yours. Look after it. Scratching or spoiling desks, writing in chalk or pencil on the walls or in any way damaging what belong to other is highly reprehensible behavior.
  • Books other than text books like comics, magazines and newspapers etc. are not allowed in school.
  • Money should not be lent or borrowed or articles be given exchange. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles to school, in case of any kind of damage or lose, school shall not be responsible.
  • Students are expected to join in the various games and tournaments organized on the school level but they must be regular in attending once they have given their names.
  • Great care is taken to form the character of pupils to inspire them with love of religion and morality, to help them to become agents of needed social change in the country, to train them to be gentlemen and women and to acquire habits of cleanliness and order, to prepare them to be good and loyal citizens of India.
  • Report on general progress is given at the end of each term.
  • Pupils whose conduct is injurious to moral tone of school or incompatible with strict discipline are liable to be dismissed. More precisely, stealing cheating will be dealt with very sternly.
  • Students whose presence in the opinion of the principal is not beneficial or whose application is unsatisfactory or whose parents show little interests in their progress will be requested to be withdrawn.
  • Student must prepare daily lessons and tasks at home, spend one and half hour in home study before class and two hour after class. Parents and guardians are requested to enforce the adherence of this rule at home. Let them also insist on punctuality in their daily classes.
  • Parents should inform the authorities if their ward is suffering from any physical ailment, which makes it essential for the authorities to be aware of.
  • Student should not leave the school premises during the class hours without the permission of Vice Principal.
  • Parents should not visit the class teachers without the permission of Principal.
  • All school fees must be paid in advance; the date for payment is not later than the 20th of the month or as indicated in school calendar. A student may be sent home without the prior notice for irregular payment of fees. Student heard talking vernacular inside the campus will face suspension.
  • If any Lab Apparatus broken or misplaced by student, he/she has to replace the same within a week.
